John Livaditis has been the President of AXIO Commercial Real Estate since he founded the company in 2004. He began his real estate career working extensively on urban redevelopment projects with his father in downtown Chicago. After moving to Colorado in 1996, John worked as a commercial real estate broker for Trammell Crow Company and was responsible for leasing over one million square feet of commercial space in the Denver Metro area. John was then appointed Vice President of Western Centers Inc. where he was instrumental in the acquisitions, redevelopment, repositioning, leasing and disposition of retail properties. John was employed by the Regional Transportation District facilitating development projects around transit stations and is considered an expert in Transit Oriented Development or TOD.
In 2004, John founded the Urban Land Institute’s Young Leaders Group Colorado, taking the group from inception to over 300 members and is an active member of ULI Colorado’s Executive Committee. He is also an active member of both the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Certified Commercial Investment Institute (CCIM), National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), the Denver Metro Commercial Association of Realtors (DMCAR), and has been designated as the Colorado Representative of The Council of International Restaurant Real Estate Brokers (CIRB).
John completed his undergraduate studies at Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. In 2003, he completed post-graduate work at the University of Denver with a Masters Degree in Real Estate and Construction Management, receiving the Daniels College of Business Personal Achievement Award.
John’s drive, persistence and passion for success were most clearly presented to the world in February 2002. His life long dream came to fruition as an athlete in the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, competing for Greece in the sport of Bobsleigh.
