John Livaditis has been the President of AXIO Commercial Real Estate since he founded the company in 2004. He began his real estate career working extensively on urban redevelopment projects with his father in downtown Chicago. After moving to Colorado in 1996, John worked as a commercial real estate broker for Trammell Crow Company. At Trammell, he was responsible for leasing over one million square feet of commercial space in the Denver Metro area. Western Centers, Inc. then appointed John to Vice President where he was instrumental in the acquisitions, redevelopment, repositioning, leasing and disposition of retail properties. John worked for the Regional Transportation District facilitating development projects around transit stations. As a result, he is considered an expert in Transit Oriented Development or TOD.
In 2004, John founded the Urban Land Institute’s Young Leaders Group Colorado, taking the group from inception to over 300 members and is an active member of ULI Colorado’s Executive Committee. He is an active member of both the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Certified Commercial Investment Institute (CCIM). His other memberships include the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and the Denver Metro Commercial Association of Realtors (DMCAR). Lastly, he is the Colorado Representative of The Council of International Restaurant Real Estate Brokers (CIRB).
John received his undergraduate at Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. In 2003, he received a Master’s Degree in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver. In addition, he received the Daniels College of Business Personal Achievement Award.
John clearly presented his drive and persistence for success to the world in the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. Competing for Greece, his lifelong dream came to fruition as an Olympic athlete in the sport of Bobsleigh.
